Walton Wellness - Director DeDe Harris recognizes the value of cycling as part of a healthy community. She has created the Agrocycle Tour and Project Road Share.
Safe Kids of Walton County - Safe Kids Worldwide is a global organization dedicated to preventing injuries in children, the number one killer of kids in the United States. Around the world, a child dies from an unintentional injury every 30 seconds. And millions of children are injured in ways that can affect them for a lifetime. Several events for children are held each year to distribute new helmets and provide a fun cycling safety training session for children that attend these events.
Kids bikes are repaired or built from used parts through a earning system that includes scheduled community service projects such as picking up litter in the neighborhood, through logging time by working on bikes, or completing tasks around the shop.
